Semi-Abstract Classmate

I actually did this picture for art class two years ago (8th grade). We had to find a partner and draw him/her either front or site view. Then we had to draw some basic shape or other around on the picture. Two mediums were required, colored pencil and watercolor. One had to be in cool colors, the other in warms. One would be inside the shapes, the others were outside. We had to make patterns, which we'd apply wherever we used the color pencils, but we only needed to do gradients and washes with the paint.

Interesting project. I'm surprised that it still turned out good even though back then I wasn't serious about my art.
